직함이 아니라 손으로 쌓은 시간만 셉니다. 어거스트랩은 2022년 삼성전자 C-Lab에서 스핀오프해 스마트기타 PEOZ를 직접 기획·개발·양산했습니다.We count only time spent building. AugustLab spun off from Samsung Electronics' C-Lab in 2022 and designed, built and mass-produced the PEOZ smart guitar in-house.

검증하고, 그다음 계약합니다.Verify first. Then sign.

PoC로 핵심 기능을 실제 보드에서 확인한 뒤 본개발 계약을 맺습니다. 개발비는 단계별로 나눠 내고, 잔금은 양산 확인 후에 냅니다.The main contract is signed only after a PoC proves the core function on a real board. Fees are split by milestone and the balance is paid after production sign-off.

본개발Development

HW · FW · 앱 · 클라우드 개발, 인증과 양산 설계.HW, FW, app and cloud, plus certification and DFM.

STEP 04

양산Production

잔금 50%Balance 50%

시제품 → 검증 → Pilot 단계별 승인. 양산 확인 후 잔금.Prototype → verification → pilot. Balance after sign-off.

고객사 보호 장치. 선지급 후 개발 중단 → PoC와 본개발 분리, 마일스톤 지급. 납기 지연 → 산출물·검증 기준을 계약서에 명시. 협업 중단 → 제품 사용권 보장, 산출물·버전 전량 이관. Built-in protection. Paying first and development stalling → PoC separated from main contract, milestone payments. Schedule slips → deliverables and acceptance criteria in the contract. Partnership ending → guaranteed product licence, full handover.
